More Richmond residents 'used to plug hole in national finances' under reported mansion tax changes
4,300+ more homes could be pulled into the Government's proposed 'mansion tax' under reported plans to lower the threshold from £2m to £1.5m. This would mean 9,200 homes in total would be impacted, taking more money from the borough direct to the Treasury.
