Government funding cuts could strip £29m a year from Richmond upon Thames by 2028/29
We're urging residents to back our campaign against government funding reforms which would strip £29 million a year from the borough by 2028/29 - 60% of our core funding - and put vital local services under severe pressure.

Climate watchdog says Heathrow expansion has ‘no credible pathway’ to Net Zero
The Leader of the Council has enthusiastically welcomed the Climate Change Committee's report which says there is “no credible pathway” for the expansion of Heathrow Airport within the UK’s climate commitments under current policies.
Councillor Gareth Roberts said: “The Climate Change Committee has laid bare the weakness of the Government’s case for Heathrow expansion."
