Councils challenge Government’s case for Heathrow expansion
The Leader of Richmond Council has joined the leaders of six other London and surrounding boroughs in challenging the Government’s case for Heathrow expansion, warning that the current plans do not do enough to protect residents against aircraft noise, air quality, climate change and the impact on local communities.

As the new season begins, it's a great time to look again at what is already at home, whether you can restyle some of the pieces you already have, repair well-loved items or passing things on so someone else can make use of them.
This September is a chance to think second hand first, from shopping pre-loved and donating good quality items, to finding simple ways to waste less.
