Strengthening Engagement with Refugee and Migrant Communities - 27 August 2026
Richmond Council is seeking an organisation to deliver a six-month communications and engagement project aimed at strengthening connections with refugee and migrant communities across the borough.
The project will work with residents who have lived experience of forced migration to identify effective outreach channels, map community assets, and co-produce a targeted communications and engagement plan. Richmond Council Updates
Active Hampton: Building an Inclusive Community Sports Hub
Since re-opening, just eight weeks ago, Active Hampton has welcomed more than 500 visits across a full seven-day timetable, offering activities for residents of all ages and abilities; including everything from Mini Kickers football for toddlers and Age UK pickleball for over-55s to Harlequins wheelchair rugby and junior coaching sessions.
More is on the way. September brings a Multicultural Richmond Social Hub, walking football, social badminton, and a Sporting Memories group for older people living with dementia. The vision for Active Hampton is to create a welcoming and inclusive hub, developed alongside local partners, that brings people together through sport, physical activity and social connection.
That's where you come in. We have space and slots available, and we're keen to hear from organisations who might want to run a session, use the venue, or help us reach groups who aren't currently active. Even if that's not the right fit right now, your insight into local need would be valuable.
