Have your say on Heathrow’s expansion plans
Share your views on the government's plans to expand Heathrow airport at our Community Conversation event on Thursday 23 July from 7.30-9.30pm at York House in Twickenham or join us online. We want to hear from residents about how Heathrow expansion could impact you, so your views can be included in the Council's response to the latest consultation. We will also share information that residents can use for your own response to the consultation, which closes on 1 September.
Residents, businesses given behind-the-scenes look as Twickenham Riverside takes shape
We gave local residents and businesses a special behind the scenes look at the Twickenham Riverside development earlier this week. Alongside Kier Construction, we hosted neighbours on site to give them an opportunity to meet the team delivering the new heart for Twickenham, hear about the next phase, ask questions and share feedback directly.

'Attenborough at 100' schools programme launched to inspire next generation of environmental champions
On Tuesday we launched a brand-new 'Attenborough at 100' programme for local youngsters to follow in Sir David Attenborough's footsteps. Up to 10 local primary schools will be given grants of £1,000 to set up projects that help kids explore nature, boost biodiversity and protect the environment - making sure Sir David's legacy will be felt across generations!
