Orleans House Gallery
Orleans House Gallery is free to enter and hosts a programme of regularly changing art exhibitions and activities for all ages. The gallery is set in beautiful grounds with a wild woodland and visitors are more than welcome to bring their own lunches or picnics from home.
Family Activities
Orleans House Gallery offer a range of creative activities for families. Plenty of the activities on offer are free, and their paid-for family activities have a special concession rate, which includes the monthly Let’s Get Creative sessions.

Get fit for FREE at one of our 18 outdoor gyms
There are 18 outdoor gyms located around the borough which are accessible 24/7 completely free of charge. All equipment comes with clear instructions so you don’t need any fitness expertise to try them out.
Fairer Access Scheme
We offer an annual leisure subscription at a lower rate for those who are unemployed or on a low income, which gives you a price discount on most of our fitness classes, activities and pay as you go access.
Meet new people and get moving for FREE with Parkrun
Parkruns are free, weekly, community exercise events all around the world. You can walk, jog, run, hop or skip your way around the route! They provide a positive, welcoming and inclusive experience where there is no time limit and no one finishes last.

Kew Gardens £1 entry fee
Anyone receiving Pension Credit or Universal Credit can enter Kew Gardens’ for just £1 and see their 300+ acres of land, 14,000 trees, four major glasshouses, award-winning children’s garden, as well as their free temporary festivals and exhibitions that happen all year round.
Museum of Richmond
The Museum of Richmond hosts regular craft events for both children and adults that are available on a ‘donate what you can’ basis. You will receive a goody bag of materials to help you continue crafting at home, and also get tea, coffee and snacks provided.
