Demolition is over and construction now underway as Twickenham Riverside transformation gathers pace
Construction of a new superstructure is getting started on Twickenham Riverside. After months of demolition, piling, drainage and flood defence works, two tower cranes have been installed to make the build happen and revitalise the town centre! Cllr Gareth Roberts, Leader of Richmond Council, said: “There is real momentum on site, with major construction now underway as we create a riverside that matches the ambition and character of Twickenham."
Forest bikes have officially launched across Richmond upon Thames
A new era for e-bike travel in Richmond began on Monday as Forest officially became the borough's e-bike hire operator, with 1,500 bikes being rolled out across the borough this week. The launch will bring cheaper journeys, greater availability and easier travel across London, helping more people choose cycling for those everyday trips!
