Discover new opportunities in your area at next month's Richmond Volunteer Fair
Richmond’s biggest celebration and showcase of local community action is back, to inspire and ignite your volunteering ambitions. The hugely popular annual event will take place at Richmond and Hillcroft Adult Community College (RHACC) on Wednesday 20 May, from 2 to 6pm, promising a vibrant atmosphere, a wide mix of great local causes, and exciting opportunities for individuals to get involved in and make a difference.
Career development support available for Richmond residents
Over-50s have the hardest time returning to work after a redundancy, but Room for Work are offering two free courses this April in Richmond and Hampton to help them get back into the workplace. The 12-lesson programme for over 40s includes tailored, one-to-one mentoring provided by the Course Leader with follow-up coaching support.
Join the East Sheen Spring Hunt this Saturday
Why not bring your little bunnies along to East Sheen’s Spring Hunt for a fun-filled family adventure around East Sheen and continue the Easter fun? Starting at the Hare & Hounds in the centre of Sheen, children collect a trail map and set off to explore SW14’s wonderful independent businesses.
