Major milestone for Twickenham Riverside as site prepared for construction
Demolition on Twickenham Riverside is done and the site is now steadily moving toward the main construction phase that will bring a new heart for Twickenham to life. Preparation works are very nearly complete, so be sure to keep an eye on the site over the coming weeks, where you'll see real progress as the next stage of infrastructure works gets fully underway!
Investment, jobs and opportunity: Richmond sets out bold growth plan for the next decade
A bold new plan to drive sustainable growth, unlock investment and create better opportunities for Richmond residents and businesses has been launched by the Council. The Richmond Growth Plan, unveiled earlier this week, sets out a clear, long-term blueprint to grow the borough’s economy in a way that's inclusive, environmentally responsible and rooted in the unique character of its places - from vibrant town centres to globally recognised natural and cultural assets.

The community came together at Richmond's Duke Street Church on Tuesday evening to celebrate this year’s amazing Community Heroes. From young children raising thousands for charity, to volunteers supporting displaced families, to decades long commitments to protecting nature and providing essential advice services – some of Richmond upon Thames’ most inspiring grassroots initiatives were given the recognition they deserve!
