Council calls for clearer signage for drivers ahead of TfL’s A316 speed limit change
We’ve raised serious concerns that TfL has not done enough to inform residents about plans to lower the speed limit on a busy stretch of the A316 to 30mph - with no extra warning signs planned when the change comes into force tomorrow (20 March).
The new limit will apply between St Margaret’s Roundabout and Richmond Circus.

Piling begins at Twickenham Riverside, paving the way for construction to begin
Work to lay the foundations of the much-anticipated Twickenham Riverside regeneration is beginning, as specialist piling works start on site this week - marking a major step forward in the transformation of the town’s waterfront. A large piling rig has arrived on site, ready to create the deep structural supports needed for buildings and flood defences, and is expected to take around four weeks.
