Richmond strengthens support for 14,000 local adult and young carers with new Carers' Charter
Did you know that Richmond is home to over 14,000 unpaid carers, including 1,000 young carers? Last year we heard directly from 250+ unpaid carers about their lived experience, challenges and hopes for the future. Now we're launching our new Adult and Young Carers’ Charter, inspired by their words, to strengthen support for all unpaid carers in Richmond upon Thames.

What's Happening?
Mark World Wetlands Day with Community BlueScapes
World Wetlands Day takes place on Monday 2 February, and this year’s theme celebrates cultural heritage and the vital connections between people and wetlands. Community BlueScapes will be marking the occasion by showcasing entries from their 'Art of the River' nature art competition, which invited young people to showcase their favourite wetlands through artwork or poetry. Winning artworks will be celebrated and displayed at local venues across the Beverley Brook catchment, including Richmond, East Sheen and Castelnau libraries.
