Clarendon SEND School reaches exciting 'topping out' milestone
The new Clarendon School site 'topped out' earlier this week, marking a major milestone for the construction. The specialist centre will provide 77 school places for local children with special educational needs and disabilities, reducing the need for out-of-borough placements and helping children learn closer to home.

Remembrance services taking place across the borough this weekend
This Sunday (9 November) is Remembrance Sunday, where the nation falls silent for two minutes to remember the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women in the two World Wars and later conflicts. Services will be taking place across the borough which are open to all. To pay our respects, the Council will be flying the Union Flag outside the Civic Centre from Sunday through to Remembrance Day on Tuesday (11 November).
