Supply Richmond / Wandsworth began its Fit To Bid® programme with it’s opening Engage with Procurement online webinar.
Supply Richmond/ Wandsworth, continues to support local businesses to strengthen their ability to bid for or win public / private sector contracts. Due to additional funding, we are inviting SMEs from Richmond and our neighbouring boroughs of Croydon, Sutton, Merton and Kingston to join and participate in The Fit To Bid® programme. This provides SMEs with a proven structure, practical tools, and strategic insight in to how to grow confidently, stand out in competitive markets, and secure more contracts. REMINDER: Single use Vapes Ban
 Trading Standards wishes to remind the business community that the single use vapes ban came into force on 1st June.
All single use vapes, both nicotine and non-nicotine, can no longer be sold. Failing to comply with the ban could lead to products being seized and traders facing legal action, such as a fine.
Businesses should take the opportunity to ensure their sales staff are aware of the new rules and can answer customers queries. It is also important to check new stock meets the new requirements for vapes and is not caught by the ban. If businesses find that a supplier offers them single use vapes this can be reported to trading standards.
