Green light given for Stag Brewery redevelopment, opening the door for new homes and school in Mortlake
The Council has welcomed the Planning Inspectorate’s decision to approve the long-awaited redevelopment of the former Stag Brewery site. The site, which stood vacant for almost a decade, will be transformed into 1,075 new homes – including 65 affordable homes – alongside a new secondary school with sixth form. The scheme also includes over 10,000 square metres of commercial space, upgrades to local infrastructure, and public realm improvements such as new pedestrian and cycle routes, green spaces, and better access to the River Thames and surrounding areas.
