Richmond to Kew towpath works

Thank you for your continued patience during the works to reinstate the towpath between Richmond and Kew.
We now have the preliminary designs needed to start the consents process, which will begin later this month. In the meantime, we have implemented emergency temporary works to prevent further damage to the towpath.
We were aware that some people had attempted to bypass signage and barriers in place to have a look at the affected area. This is not safe, so we have reinforced the safety measures to prevent access.
We are hopeful that we will be in a position to start the permanent repair works in April.
