Time to Pay Payment Plan - Spread the cost of your tax bill

Managing finances can become challenging. HMRC is offering support for Self Assessment customers who may struggle to pay their tax bill in full, reminding them of the opportunity to spread the cost of their bill.

There is still an opportunity to sign up/set up a Time to Pay payment plan.

The online deadline to file a tax return for the 2023/2024 tax year and pay any tax owed is 31 January 2025. Anyone who is unable to pay their tax bill in full, owes less than £30,000 and is eligible, can easily apply online without the need to contact HMRC directly. Those that owe more than £30,000 are still able to apply but would need to contact HMRC.

Minority Business Matters offers free business support for ethnic minority businesses (EMBs) - start ups and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with 250 or fewer employees - in London. With one-to-one support, learning programmes, networking and pitching opportunities, they can help you become supplier ready, access contacts and win contracts.

They welcome leaders working in all London-based ethnic minority businesses, especially encourage anyone who considers they have a disability or who identifies as LGBTQ+ to access this support.

EMBs defined as being at least 51% owned, managed and controlled by people from ethnic minority backgrounds.
