Update on the Richmond to Kew towpath collapse repairs
The Thames towpath between Richmond Lock and Kew Gardens car park on Ferry Lane is still entirely closed following the collapse of a section of the towpath on Saturday 19 October. We're not the only body with interests and responsibilities in the damaged section, but we've actively taken the lead on this very complex project and are working with other relevant parties to deliver solutions as quickly as possible.
Support your local shops this Small Business Saturday
Small Business Saturday returns this Saturday 7 December and provides an important opportunity to champion our independent businesses, visit your local high street and shop local ahead of the holidays. Our small businesses make up the core of our community and help to create vibrant, unified neighbourhoods. What's more, when you shop locally this Christmas, you'll be able to vote in the first ever Richmond upon Thames Christmas Window competition - just look out for the green stickers to find participating businesses!
