VIDEO: We're setting our sights on the UK’s most ambitious air quality target to date!
While air quality in the borough has improved dramatically since 2019 with a 50% drop in one of the main pollutants, we have no plans to stop there. We have set a new goal for air quality that has been built on 10 years of research and sets acceptable air pollution levels at around 75% lower than UK standards. We're now looking for residents to feedback on the draft Air Quality Action Plan to let us know what could be improved on.
Major roadworks on A316 London Road roundabout to start next week
Major Transport for London roadworks have commenced on the A316 at the London Road roundabout. The project will involve significant changes to the roundabout aiming to improve safety and traffic flow in the area, but will inevitably cause some disruption to local residents and commuters. Join an online briefing session at 6.30pm TONIGHT (24 October) to learn more about the works and ask any questions you may have.

We are again offering residents up to 50kg of free rock salt from the our depot in Langhorn Drive, Twickenham.
