Funding still available to support your 2024 sustainability projects
Don’t miss the chance to apply for a climate action microgrant grant this October. Our grants have been supporting lots of local events already, such as local litter picks, whose organiser said: "Thanks to the climate action microgrants, we were able to purchase good quality litter pickers, making the task much easier and more efficient. We also bought some child-sized pickers to get the little ones involved!" Apply for the latest round of funding before 25 October.
Temporary closures scheduled on Hammersmith Bridge
Hammersmith & Fulham Council have confirmed Hammersmith Bridge will be closed for six 24-hour periods on Friday to Saturday evenings in the coming weeks for repair work. Engineers need to lift the 137-year-old cast iron bridge and replace the corroded, seized components with new rubber bearings.

The Money Advice Roadshow comes to Whitton Community Centre on 25 October!
The first Richmond upon Thames Money Advice Roadshow is coming to Whitton Community Centre to offer local residents free advice from experts to help make their money go further. Come along between 11am and 2pm to meet with Citizens Advice Richmond and other specialist local organisations on a wide range of financial topics like getting discounts on your bills, tips on saving energy and more.
