Our 20mph speed limit has been proven to make roads safer
Newly published data has shown that the introduction of the 20mph speed limit across the borough has improved road safety. The limit, which was implemented in March 2020 and covers 97% of our roads, has led to fewer injury collisions, pedestrian incidents, and a lower average speed overall!
Share your views on our new climate strategy
Help us shape the way we fight Climate Change in Richmond upon Thames! We're holding three interactive workshops for residents to learn more and give their input on our new five-year Climate Strategy covering 2025-30. The first of these workshops will be held online on 17 September, with two further in-person workshops following on 26 September and 16 October, the latter of which will be aimed towards local businesses and community groups.
