Creatives in the London Brough of Richmond upon Thames will be given the chance to increase their income and grow a sustainable business this autumn.
Developed and run by community interest company Creative United and funded by Richmond Council via the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, Re:Create Richmond aims to provide a lifeline for creative businesses to develop and thrive.
The Re:Create business support programme has already generated an estimated £165,000 in additional income for creatives in Wandsworth as well as seen new jobs created over the past three years.
Twenty creative businesses, artists or makers in the borough will be selected for tailored, one-to-one business advice, mentoring from a creative industry expert and skills development. Applications close 5pm on Friday 27 September 2024.
Join us for the Re:Create launch online event on Tuesday 20 August, with Cllr Phil Giesler, Cllr John Coombs and representatives from Creative United to find out more.

The first draft Night Time Strategy for Richmond Borough is now complete and ready for your feedback.
As you may be aware, the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames has been developing a Night Time Strategy over the last year to help understand how we can make the night-time (between 6pm and 6am) a better experience for everyone living, working, and visiting the borough.
This includes diversifying the night-time offer, providing services for night workers, improving safety and pushing for more activities for young people in the borough.
We would love to hear your views! Please tell us what you think about our first draft Strategy by clicking through our interactive document here.
The consultation will run until 30th September 2024.
