Hampton Village has a wonderful collection of independent businesses waiting to be discovered!
As well as being great for getting what you need locally, many of these businesses make it their mission to have a real impact in the community they call home. Take a look at our latest showcase and meet some of the businesses making a difference in their area.
In this video we'll meet Birdie Bikes, a cycle shop who offer cycling lessons for kids, The Book Shop run by community volunteers, Tree of Life Guitars, who do music lessons and showcases in the community, as well as local gift shop Ruby's Prezzys!

'Twickmas' Festival
Have yourself a local little Christmas this weekend!
A Taste of Twickenham and The Cabbage Patch present 'Have Yourself A Local, Little Twickmas!'
If you're not familiar, A Taste of Twickenham is a non-profit working with the community to organise unique events that promote and celebrate all the wonderful things on our doorstep!
Taking place on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 November from 10am-6pm at The Cabbage Patch, the Christmas-themed festival will have over 30 gift stalls, Santa’s (Recycled!) Grotto, interactive activities for children and a Christmas food court featuring local restaurants. There will also be two entertainment stages showcasing local musicians.

Christmas Concerts!
Live music performances by local ukulele players Patch Ukulele Band and Teddington Ukulele Players bring their heart warming music to libraries this Christmas. Sing, dance, bring family and friends to get the season’s celebrations started with joyful tunes that will make everyone smile.
Continue the celebrations with ukuleles in libraries - thanks to the London Ukulele Project, ukuleles can be borrowed with your library card, just like a book!
Concerts will take place on:
Friday 1 December, 2-3pm at Twickenham Library
Saturday 2 December, 10.30-11.15am at Teddington Library.
