SUBSCRIPTION RENEWAL – Garden Waste Collection Service 2024-2025
Your garden waste subscription for the period 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026 is now due for renewal. Please note that your reference number will change annually, so the number shown above will be different from last year.
This year, the cost to renew your subscription is £87 for each bin.
Our records show that you have 1 bin/s therefore the total cost to renew your subscription will be £60.
Please ensure your garden waste subscription is renewed by 2 May 2025.
To renew:
The easiest way to renew or manage your contract is online via www.havering.gov.uk/gardenwaste. Follow the link to our ‘Manage your garden waste bin contract’ to renew. This option is available 24/7, and you can also amend the quantity of bins here too if necessary
Need to make a change?
If you need to make a change to your address, visit www.havering.gov.uk/gardenwaste and follow the link to our ‘Manage your garden waste bin contract’ form. Please note that you can only change your address once you have renewed a contract.
You can change bin numbers as you renew.
To cancel your subscription, simply do nothing and let the contract expire. All contracts not renewed by 2 May 2025 will be cancelled, and we will collect the unwanted bin(s) in the following weeks.

Stickers
From this year onwards, we will no longer issue stickers to place on your green bin(s). Instead, the collection crews will have an electronic record of all current contracts and will only collect from those addresses.
If you wish to identify your bin, we suggest you use adhesive numbers to ensure that it is returned to the correct property.
Collection day
We will collect your Green Bin every two weeks. Collections will remain unchanged during Bank Holiday weeks, except for the two-week closure over the Christmas period. You can visit our website for details of your next collection day www.havering.gov.uk/collections

Please Note:
In order for collections to remain constant, please renew as early as possible.
If you have already renewed your garden waste collection service, please disregard this e-mail.
There are also other ways to dispose of your garden waste. This can either be by home composting or taking your waste to the Re-use and Recycle Centre.
