Get Creative Festival

Havering Adult College’s Get Creative Festival is back for 2019 and aims to inspire the borough’s residents to unleash their creative energies and champion everyday creativity.

From 11-19 May 2019, the college is encouraging everyone to try their hand at something new and creative - from photography and plant pot making to film production and flower arranging – by signing up to FREE workshops at their Bower Park site.

Havering creatives come together for successful funding event

Last week saw over 50 local creatives attend Premiere Cinema in the Mercury Mall for an Arts Council and GLA Culture Seeds funding presentation workshop which encourages and supports new cultural projects - potentially the start of lots more cultural activity for the borough.

The Romford International Film Festival

6 - 10 June 
For the third year running, Romford will be at the centre of the world’s independent film scene, showing over 100 indie films from a plethora of genres and styles - from a Russian journey on the trans-siberian railway to an intense game of poker with a local film maker, to name a few.

This year, we will also be hosting the first ever ‘Eurasian Film Festival’, showcasing the best and rarely seen independent films from the remote caucus regions.
