New chapter for library systems

Hornchurch Library in sunshine

Havering's libraries will shortly be moving to a new system for managing their stock of books, audio files and documents. The new system will give seamless access to e-books and audio from a single log-in, and allow all titles held by the libraries to be searched online by residents.

The work to upgrade the library systems will be carried out from 2 to 6 March. During that time library users may experience some temporary, limited, disruption to normal services.
