Havering Council is one of 12 councils to have been chosen by NHS Digital to explore how digital technologies can improve social care.

The initiative, commissioned by NHS Digital and managed by the Local Government Association has awarded Havering £20,000 in the first phase of funding to develop a “skills passport” that aims to improve social care employment and training processes in our borough. Six of the councils will then be chosen to receive up to £80,000 in additional funding, to design and implement their solution.
