Could you help?

Independent Visitor 2018

It can only take a few hours a month to make a real difference to a child or young person living in care. By becoming an independent visitor you are volunteering your time to meet with a young person every two to three weeks to provide an additional support system for them.

Help build their confidence and listen to their thoughts and feelings over a coffee or engage them to take part in fun activities.

Havering Council provides full training, ongoing support and reimburses all expenses incurred as part of the role. Contact Alison Day on 01708 434111 or alison.day2@havering.gov.uk for more details.
