Don't let a burglar spoil your holiday

Safe while away

We launched the #SafeWhileAway Campaign early this month to give people tips on how to keep their home safe over the summer. Burglary peaks during the summer period when many homes are left empty while families are away on holiday.

We urge residents to protect their homes by following burglary prevention tips.  And don’t forget to share this poster on social media so your friends and their homes can be #SafeWhileAway.

Keep your scooter safe

Moped

The MET Police ‘Be Safe’ campaign urges riders of scooters, motorcycles and mopeds to use more security to avoid the theft of their vehicles. Security measures alone cannot guarantee a scooter will not be stolen, but every step taken makes it less attractive to a thief.

Remember: the more visible the security, the less visible your scooter is to thieves: adding extra security makes it harder for them to steal.
