Celebrating World Book Day

Thursday 2 March

book day

We are celebrating World Book Day in libraries on the 2 March and will be asking the public to write some ‘Reader Recommendations’ for the books that they have read.  This is a great way for readers to interact, share experiences and maybe try something new.  There may even be some ‘Reader Recommendations’ from local councillors too.

We have lots of other things going on; St Patricks school are bringing most of their students to visit Collier Row Library and providing children’s work for display. Gidea Park Library will be hosting a Quiz asking people to guess the novel from their opening lines.
