Investigating the area
While it might not
look like much, this trial hole is the first in nearly 100 to explore and better
understand the structure of the roads across the area.
You will also see our
contractor Euvoria out on site removing pedestrian barriers, undertaking other
pavement decluttering works and working on the traffic signals.
These initial changes
and exploration works mark the first phase of the project. You can explore what
else is planned via our project webpages.
Working space
During the project our contractor
Eurovia will have a temporary compound in Alfred Place. We will be
contacting all businesses and residents directly affected by this shortly
with further detail on what is proposed.
We will be working to reduce the size of the compound as the project progresses.
If you want to know
more on this or have any other queries or concerns please do get in touch.

The programme ahead
Our contractor
Eurovia will be working hard to minimise any disruption during the works. As
you can see from the above image we will sometimes need to put in place
temporary measures.
In this case this
crossing on Tottenham Court Road will be restricted in size for a few days
while we are working on the signals in this area.
Find out more about the
upcoming programme and what temporary measures are being put in place via our
website.
