Conserving local heritage

Have you spotted the beautiful historic lamp posts on Tottenham Court Road? Dating from 1892, these were the first electric lights to be installed in London.

As part of the West End project, these will be restored to their former beauty and once again light up Tottenham Court Road.

Discover what else will be delivered during the two year project via our website. We'll be updating these pages regularly.
