Volunteer at Repair Cafe Lambeth TODAY!
If you have practical skills the Repair Cafe invite you to join their expert team, sharing their knowledge and experience during Repair Café Lambeth events. They would love to help community members to keep fixable stuff out of the waste system and show them how to do simple repairs. They repair:
- clothing/textiles
- electrical appliances
- bicycles
- furniture/wooden objects
- musical instruments

Age UK Lambeth Hospital Discharge Volunteers
 This role is to support patients transitioning from hospital to home, ensuring their discharge is safe, smooth, and successful. By providing practical assistance and emotional support, you will play a key role in helping individuals regain independence, prevent readmission, and access community resources.
If you’re looking to make a difference and help people while gaining valuable experience, Age UK Lambeth would love to hear from you!
- Minimum time commitment: 1 - 2 hours a week
- Minimum length of commitment: 4 - 6 weeks

One-to-one Befrienders at Centre 70
 Centre 70 is an Advice and Counselling service that has been at the heart of West Norwood since 1970. They are offering one-to-one befriending for local people as part of their new Wellbeing Service, this is a face to face service which aims to connect people together with their community.
Would you like to volunteer at Centre 70 and one of their local Community Befrienders?
Meet up with someone in the local community who is feeling lonely or isolated once a week for a couple of hours, spend some time with the person to get to know each other while going for a walk or visiting a cafe... Listen, chat and share stories. You could even try a new activity together! This is great opportunity to meet new people and learn from each other by sharing experiences and feel more connected to the local community. Training and ongoing support provided.
