Traffic Light System Boxing
The Resident Engagement Team assisted the Traffic Light System (TLS Boxing) CIC Community Group by providing them with an opportunity to develop their business and promote community wellbeing, health, and safety, especially for young children at risk of gang violence.
They were awarded a derelict community hall that has not been used for over 10 years. The work they have done is incredible.
Traffic Light System Boxing CIC aims to provide boxing facilities for people of all ages. Primarily supporting young people in South London and neighbouring communities in London, where inequalities are present. Our experienced team will engage with boxers and patrons to tackle many of the complex issues that effect our community.
Our purpose is to provide an accessible service, inside and outside of the ring, for young people and their families.

Fair and Inclusive Support Survey
We would like to hear from people who have contact with Lambeth Adult Social Care to understand and improve people’s experiences of our service.
Please could you take the survey to help us find out what’s working well and where we can improve to create a fairer and more inclusive service. The survey should not take longer than 10 to 15 minutes to complete.
Once the surveys are received, we will look at the key themes to discuss in more detail in focus groups so we can co-develop an action plan.

Southbank Centre
Southbank Centre is recruiting currently recruiting young people aged 9 – 18 to join the choir from Autumn 2025. Apply to join Youth Voices and discover the joy of singing with expert vocal leaders. Being part of a choir is a great way to make new friends and meet new people and group singing is an uplifting way to develop confidence and a sense of general wellbeing.
You don’t need to have any previous musical experience, nor do you need to know how to read music. You just need a curiosity to explore your own voice, sing collaboratively as part of a group, and be keen to have fun meeting new people and making new friends.
Join us this summer for taster sessions in venues across our local boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark. Young people from all over London are welcome.

TRA AGM update
The past months has been a busy period for AGMs across the south of the Borough. It all started in early April with the Dunbar and Dunelm TRA holding their first meeting of the year. The community is working to improve the green spaces and the TRA was successful in obtaining a Getting Involved Grant (GIG). A new committee was elected at the meeting. Following on from this, the Lairdale Estate held their first AGM for nearly eighteen months. The warm spring sunshine meant there was a good turnout, and a new chair and committee was elected to serve the community for the next 12 months.
As April ended, there was more good news. After a gap of over 2 years, the Deronda Estate finally elected a new committee. They will be meeting shortly to identify priorities and have already started planning the summer event.
The month of May began with the Woodvale Estate TRA AGM. A new committee was elected and there are already plans for the next 12 months including a project aimed at the young people of the estate.
