The exposition of a lumpen statement (crudely Marxist) towards a vulgar theory of artistic production, produced in the form of a written and spoken assertion of ongoing artistic intention 2023-24.
Scuff Marks, Exhibited consists of a film of JCHP reading their text SCUFF MARKS alongside the distribution of the text in book form. The text is an attempt by JCHP to situate their practice within a dialectical context. Starting from the question: what, within the domain of art production, is being communicated other than the means of communication itself?
