Help your local community to become more digitally included with Clear Community Web
ClearCommunityWeb helps people develop their digital skills, awareness and confidence in order to learn new things, live more independently and connect with their community.
They primarily work with older people, vulnerable adults, carers and families in South London. They partner and build relationships with organisations to help them reach their communities by hosting sessions, and by providing training and expertise.
Are you the person in your family or friend group who helps everyone send emails? Delete photos? Download and use apps? If you are patient, a good listener, and enjoy using your smart phone, tablet or laptop, you would be a great help to the ClearCommunityWeb team and the people they support. They are looking for volunteers for the following roles:
- Digital Drop In Volunteer - showing people how to use their devices.
- Online Services Support Volunteer - helping people to search for services online, and fill in online forms.
Some of the people we've helped have gone on to volunteer themselves, and there's nothing more rewarding than seeing someone grow in confidence and learn new skills.

They gather and document residents' views, which are shared with decision-makers to improve local services. Key responsibilities include managing information stands, participating in consultations, and engaging people both in-person and online.
