Creating healthier and safer neighbourhoods 🌳

Love Lambeth email header

Claire

Hello,

Our council is focused on creating safer and healthier neighbourhoods across Lambeth and this week we have set out the next steps in achieving this through our new Healthy Neighbourhood Plan.

We know that issues such as air pollution, dangerous roads and access to outdoor space  are a concern for many residents, and tackling them is key to improving the safety and health of people across Lambeth. This new plan will build on the pioneering work we have already undertaken to address these challenges, with a specific focus on children, older people and those most at risk.

It will also deliver on Lambeth 2030: Our Future, Our Lambeth borough plan, which is focused on creating a more equal borough, as low income families, disabled residents and Black, Asian and Multi-Ethnic residents are more likely than average to be exposed to these issues.

You can read more about the Healthy Neighbourhood Plan on our website.

Councillor Claire Holland, Lambeth Council Leader

Look out for your annual electoral canvass communication for 2024

Electoral Canvass graphic

Lambeth Electoral Services is running its annual canvass to ensure all household member details are current. As part of the annual electoral canvass, residential households across the borough will soon receive a notification letter. The type of letter you receive will tell whether you need to respond. If you fail to respond to a canvass communication you have received that requires a response, Canvass officers will need to visit your property to confirm voter details and will always show identification.
