Help SE5 Forum With Their Feel Good Festival!
SE5 Forum for Camberwell is holding a Feel Good Festival in Ruskin Park on Saturday 13th July. This totally free health & wellbeing event offers an amazing range of fun, healthy activities for all ages, including:
- Free wellbeing sessions in tai chi, music to movement, drumming
- Active Lambeth fitness fun
- Free healthy snacks from local pantry Healthy Living Platform
- Arts and creative workshops for wellbeing
- Community gardening & food growing sessions, and a mindful tree walk
- NHS health checks and physical and mental health advice plus more free stalls.
- Live choirs and music
SE5 Forum is a volunteer group, and they urgently need some extra help to set up and pack away gazebos, chairs, tables, etc between 9-11am or 3-4pm. You can join in the free wellbeing fun during the festival!

AkomaAsa Arts Academy Are Looking for Volunteers to Join Their Creative Team
Are you passionate about working with children and young people in creative arts? Akomaasa Performing Arts Academy is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join their team! They are looking for:
- A Saturday coordinator to support internal and external activities and events.
- Break Team supervisors to support and supervise children and young people during the breaks and production rest periods.
- Reception and attendance administrator - to ensure children, young people and parents are attended to, made to feel welcome and enquiries are addressed.
- Workshop Assistants to help facilitate workshops for children and inspire creativity.

Front Desk Volunteer Needed at Age UK Lambeth
Are you friendly and confident meeting and greeting visitors? Happy to signpost and refer older people to relevant support? Able to use a computer to capture visitor numbers and able to commit to 2-5 hours per week? Then this is the role for you!
Age UK Lambeth will provide training and a comprehensive guide to support with information giving. It will also reimburse expenses and provide regular support and guidance.

One-to-one Befrienders at Centre 70
Centre 70 is an Advice and Counselling service that has been at the heart of West Norwood since 1970. They are offering one-to-one befriending for local people as part of their new Wellbeing Service, this is a face to face service which aims to connect people together with their community.
Would you like to volunteer at Centre 70 and one of their local Community Befrienders?
Meet up with someone in the local community who is feeling lonely or isolated once a week for a couple of hours, spend some time with the person to get to know each other while going for a walk or visiting a cafe... Listen, chat and share stories. You could even try a new activity together! This is great opportunity to meet new people and learn from each other by sharing experiences and feel more connected to the local community. Training and ongoing support provided.
