Community Fundraising Volunteer to Empower Young People with Life-Saving Skills
Ready to empower young people with life saving skills in case of a knife attack? St John Ambulance needs passionate individuals like you to join their squad and raise vital funds to continue their Programme.
- Engage with your community
- Organize fun events
- Boost your skills
No experience needed - just enthusiasm! Save lives and empower local youth together.
St John know not everyone can, or wants to, join a formal youth group, and many young people, particularly those with the greatest health needs, are missing out. That’s why St John have created Young Responders – a programme that teaches 11 to 25-year-olds from underserved communities first aid and lifesaving skills that are relevant to them. Designed with young people for young people, the programme focuses on increasing confidence and skills in practising physical first aid (with an emphasis on street violence - stab wounds and drink spiking), and mental health first aid, so young people are better able to respond to health emergencies they may encounter in their daily lives.
Join the dynamic Young Responder program at St John Ambulance and become a vital part of their life-saving mission. As a Fundraising Volunteer, you'll have the exciting opportunity to support young responders in providing crucial first aid and medical assistance while also raising essential funds to sustain operations.
In the Community Fundraiser role, you'll unleash your creativity and passion for helping others by organizing engaging fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives tailored to inspire your peers and community members. Whether it's planning a charity walk, hosting a bake sale, or organizing a virtual fundraiser, you'll have the freedom to innovate and execute your fundraising ideas with the full support of the St John team.
If you're ready to make a meaningful impact, develop valuable skills, and be part of a community dedicated to making a positive difference, join as a Fundraising Volunteer with St John Ambulance's Young Responder program today!
