A mural and improvements for Bromfield Playground Black Prince Road Estate
We have commissioned the expertise of The Match Box, a collective comprising of muralists, street artists and sign writers, to work with local young people between the ages of 5 and 16yrs old to co-design and install a mural on the wall surrounding Bromfield Playground, located on Black Prince Road Estate. Additionally, we will engage with residents to discuss potential enhancements to the existing play area.
Additionally, we will engage with residents to discuss potential enhancements to the existing play area. The artists will run workshops with local young people to co-design an interactive mural incorporating themes of play and nature. Every stage of the process will involve active participation from the youths, providing them with opportunities for skill development and involvement in the final installation. They will also have the final say on three design options.

Annual Report
We are planning to create a report for our residents this year. This report will provide information on our performance, activities throughout the year, and plans for the upcoming year. We would appreciate resident input on the content and appearance of this document and intend to establish a small "Task and Finish Group" to oversee the project. Participation in this group is not overly demanding; we anticipate holding two meetings: one to gather initial ideas and another to review the draft.
If you are interested in taking part please contact our Head of Policy, Tom Tyson at ttyson@lambeth.gov.uk.
‘Soak up Lambeth’ SuDS Programme
Lambeth Council in partnership with Thames Water Utilities, has initiated a new £6 million Sustainable Drainage System (SuDS) programme to enhance flood resilience and promote environmental sustainability. This collaborative effort aims to make Lambeth greener and better equipped to withstand the impacts of climate change.
The SuDS programme will encompass various solutions implemented across Lambeth's parks, streets, schools, and estates. These solutions, ranging from tree planting to wetlands, are designed to replicate natural drainage patterns. The selection of SuDS types will be guided by site assessments and community feedback gathered through consultations. Visit our Lambeth SuDS engagement websitewhere you can find information on active and upcoming sustainable drainage schemes in Lambeth.
