housing ombudsman event

Lambeth Council is excited to host the latest "Meet the Ombudsman" event, providing tenants and leaseholders living in Lambeth Council properties a unique opportunity to understand the vital role of the Housing Ombudsman.

Join us for this informative session where Richard Blakeway, the Housing Ombudsman for England, will share insights into the Housing Ombudsman Service. This event offers you a chance to ask questions directly and gain valuable insights.

Members of Lambeth’s repairs team, housing management teams, and our contractors will be on hand to answer your queries. Please note, Mr Blakeway will not be able to comment on any specific complaints that his office are dealing with, or has previously dealt with.

If you are attending in person, you can ask questions on the day. If you are attending online, you can submit your questions in advance.

The types of complaints the Housing Ombudsman can deal with include:

  • Disrepair
  • Anti-social behaviour
