Dear Colleagues,
Following the publication of our new borough plan, ‘Lambeth 2030 Our Future, Our Lambeth’, we are determined to change the way we work as Council to ensure successful delivery of our 2030 ambitions: Lambeth as a borough of equity and justice; making Lambeth a place we can all call home; ensuring our neighbourhoods fit for the future and making Lambeth one of the safest boroughs in London.

- Corporate Director of Housing & Adult Social Care, Fiona Connolly
- Corporate Director of Climate & Inclusive Growth, Nabeel Khan

Those values and behaviours have been drawn up with our staff and show as an organisation that we are committed to:
-
Equity: This means that we strive for equity and justice in everything we do. Everyone is important to us, and we are not afraid to challenge the status quo.
-
Ambition: This means we are united in our ambitions for Lambeth and strive for excellence in everything we do.
-
Kindness: This means we are respectful, trusting, and supportive of each other as One Lambeth team.
-
Accountability: This means we make evidenced based decisions, take action and hold ourselves and each other to account to deliver our ambitions. We get the basics right.
These are the values and behaviours that you can expect from council staff, and how we will get the basics right and deliver our ambitions for the residents of this wonderful borough.
We look forward to continuing to work closely with you as key partners to make these ambitions a reality.
Sincerely,
Cllr Claire Holland, Leader of Lambeth council
and
Bayo Dosunmu, Chief Executive
