Hello,

This week, Lambeth Council has announced its new five-year Health and Wellbeing Strategy.

When we launched our Borough Plan, Lambeth 2030: Our Future, Our Lambeth, we put health and equity at its heart. Our new Health and Wellbeing Strategy will work alongside the Borough Plan, redoubling our focus on tackling health inequalities in Lambeth.

Harnessing and building on the partnerships we have, through a decade of collaboration with the NHS, Voluntary, Community and Faith sectors, and our local residents, we are embarking on an ambitious agenda for the next five years. Our priorities include; Ensuring the best start in life, Supporting people to lead healthy lives, Supporting communities to flourish and building resilience. Find out more and read the strategy.

The Mayor of London has also announced his Clean Air Day challenge, and you can get involved. Calling on all young Londoners, he is now inviting London school children aged four to 14 to create designs, with the chance to have them featured as part of this year’s Clean Air Day celebration with posters across London or the Mayor of London’s social media channels.
