Art Exhibition
Thursday, 5 to Tuesday 31 January Brixton Library, SW2 1JQ On show during Library opening hours
After last year’s great success, Brixton library will again be hosting an exhibition showcasing photographic work by those who have been affected by homelessness.
Twelve participants from the RPS/Cafe Art mentoring group, who meet up several times a month to improve their photographic skills with the help of mentors from the Royal Photographic society, were asked to submit a panel of 4 photographs representing their style of photography. This has resulted in bodies of work which helps showcase the personalities of the photographers as well as providing a wonderful variety of 48 images in total.
The objective of the RPS/Cafe Art group is to help the well being and confidence of those who have been affected by homelessness through photography and this exhibition plays an important part in enabling this.
