Students from BA Hons Fine Art: Painting at Camberwell College of Arts worked towards this exhibition with poets exploring the relationship between painting and poetry, word and image.
Poets Leo Boix, Lola Oh, Chole Filani and Lewis Buxton shared examples of their work as well their creative methods. Students have produced paintings that reveal their personal responses and reflections on these themes, including subjects of identity; home; belonging; unbelonging; family; the body; community; history and personal history; cultural heritage; storytelling.
An accompanying publication includes the poems and ideas that have inspired their art.

[Extra]Ordinary Portraits invites young people across the UK to learn about someone affected by the Holocaust, genocide or identity-based persecution and create a portrait of them which reveals the ‘extraordinary elements of seemingly ordinary people’.It is open to anyone in the UK aged 25 and under.

 Join in the Winter Mini Challenge at Lambeth libraries! Visit your local library now to choose books to read over the winter months. The Winter Mini Challenge encourages children to keep up their reading habits over the winter holidays, with a free-to-access website featuring rewards for reading and reviewing books. To take part in the Winter Mini Challenge, children simply read three or more books – between 1 December and 20 February and add them to their online profile at wintermini.org.uk. These can be any books of their choice. Every time they finish a book, they add it to their Challenge website profile and leave a short book review. Join in on the Winter Mini Challenge website now!

 This weekly group meets at West Norwood Library. We aim to give older and younger people affected with dementia a chance to meet others similarly placed to share challenges and achievements and have the opportunity to try different activities in a friendly, creative space.
Our one-to-one support provides advice, guidance and signposting in a safe, welcoming space. Pop in for a chat!
