Come and join us for our 'Legacy and Hope' concert featuring top classical singers along with our community choir performing songs from composers of African, Caribbean and Asian heritage, gospel, spirituals, opera, musical theatre and songs inspired by the black diaspora.
For more than 30 years Pegasus Opera Company has fearlessly paved the way for diverse talent in Opera. Pegasus Opera Company supports artists from African, Caribbean and Asian heritage based in the UK to hone their skills and create sustainable careers in opera.

Caliban and the Witch is a history of the body in the transition to capitalism. Moving from the peasant revolts of the late Middle Ages to the witch-hunts and the rise of mechanical philosophy, Federici investigates the capitalist rationalisation of social reproduction.

Local artist Jez Jacobs works across media with hints of social commentary and references to street and youth culture. He explores movement, space and travel and uses his characters and elements to orchestrate his narrative and observations. Jacobs studied fine art sculpture at London’s Central Saint Martin. He has a background in graphic and multi-media design and working with young people. |
