Baytree Centre - Coding Club Volunteer
Computer coding whilst young enables children to develop confidence and problem solving skills, boost imagination and become potential innovators.
Girls at Baytree use the online Scratch Coding programme along with Scratch coding cards to design games and projects working independently and as a group. We are seeking a volunteer to lead this popular and engaging club for girls aged 8 -11.
Skills in IT or computing are desired, but as Scratch is very user friendly, and easy to navigate, being particularly strong in IT is not a necessity. However, knowledge of using the internet as a resource tool and basic IT skills will do, ongoing support and training will be provided.

The Queens Platinum Jubilee Activities 3-Month Project
Notting Hill Genesis are looking for creative volunteers in the 3-month lead-up to and including the Platinum Jubilee celebration dates of 2nd-5th June 2022.
They have 3 extra care homes in the areas: West Norwood, Clapham Common and Stockwell. They are looking for volunteer/s for each scheme and are flexible with the weekly session day/time (ideally between Monday – Friday, 9-5pm).
They are planning to start the planning now so would love to have you onboard to hear ideas from residents and staff members as well as your own. They are looking for volunteers who can take ownership of this Jubilee project and are aware of the diverse ways we help our residents e.g. dementia-friendly, inclusive ideas for people with all abilities and cultures.
They would love to hear from you!
