 Home-Start Lambeth
Home-Start volunteers are vital in supporting families in Lambeth who are struggling, especially after the isolation of this last year.
They are looking for volunteers with child-care or parenting experience, who can offer between 1-3 hours of support per week to a family (dependent on the role).
Support is currently via phone/zoom and socially-distanced meet-ups, although they will soon be offering face-to-face volunteering roles as well.

 Helpers Needed at Brixton Rec Food Hub
Healthy Living Platform is a Charity offering activities that benefit the health and well-being of the community.
To help families during COVID-19, Healthy Living Platform set up an emergency food hub inside Brixton Rec which arranges for surplus food to be distributed to local community centres.
Volunteers are needed to help inside the hub, packing and moving crates of food and unloading/loading delivery vans.
There are short morning and afternoon shifts available for all of February - three hours in the morning, two in the afternoon - can you help?

Do you like to "do" art? Enjoy making new friends? Come and have fun and a light lunch - Painting the Lambeth Walk, Oi! - with community film, media and design education and training charity, Creative Sparkworks. They will be on the Lambeth Walk, every Friday from 10.30-1pm creating some brilliant artwork for Lambeth Walk Square - Email them to join in
 Vaccination Marshals Needed Across Lambeth
Community Pharmacies across Lambeth are providing crucial vaccination and booster access. They are looking for the support of Vaccination Marshals who are an essential part of this activity, ensuring the smooth running of activities, helping to ensure the safe flow of people being vaccinated, from the time they arrive to the time they leave, checking temperatures, preparing them for the vaccination, and making sure that patients leave safely with their vaccination cards.
