 Age UK Lambeth Gateway Support Line
MYcommunity Lambeth Gateway service operates on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 10am-4pm. This line is open to anyone, over the age of 18, with questions or concerns around accessing support and services. Queries range from access to food and shopping, access to medications and offering reassurance and emotional support.
Age UK Lambeth are looking for volunteers to help them with covering their helpline to ensure they can provide support, reassurance and a friendly ear to as many Lambeth residents as possible.
Volunteers will support with answering the helpline, answering queries and offering reassurance to all callers.

 Cookery Club Lead volunteer at The Baytree Centre
The Baytree Centre is a social inclusion charity for women and girls, based in the heart of Brixton. We provide holistic support through personal development activities and workshops, mentoring, coaching, as well as English classes and integration support for newly arrived migrants and refugees.
We are looking for a volunteer passionate about cooking to lead our very popular cookery and baking club on Tuesday afternoons. Teaching children to cook from a young age is a great way for them to learn important life skills whilst having fun and making good food!
The aim of this club is to inspire and build confidence in cooking and convey the importance of healthy eating and nutrition.
If you would love the opportunity to teach a small group of girls aged 6-11 how to prepare nutritious snacks and meals from quick and easy recipes each week, with the creative freedom of devising your own recipes, please do apply!

 Vaccination Marshals Needed Across Lambeth
Community Pharmacies across Lambeth are providing crucial vaccination and booster access. They are looking for the support of Vaccination Marshals who are an essential part of this activity, ensuring the smooth running of activities, helping to ensure the safe flow of people being vaccinated, from the time they arrive to the time they leave, checking temperatures, preparing them for the vaccination, and making sure that patients leave safely with their vaccination cards.
