Climate action, clean transport and sustainability news

Happy January!

It's that time of year when many of us set goals and targets for ourselves. For those of us trying Veganuary, it's eating more plant-based meals to improve our own health and the health of the planet. For others it's simply spending more active time outdoors, connecting with nature in our beautiful borough.

We've been working with partners across Lambeth, from residents' groups to our univerisites and NHS services, to set climate and nature targets for the whole borough to sign up to. Our Climate and Ecological Action Plan released in March 2022 sets out those goals.

Your first sustainability newsletter of 2022 covers news, campaigns and consultations as well as financial support for those just starting out on the journey to net zero as well as those already on the way.
