Home Covid-19 testing programme launches in Lambeth

Anyone who is over-18 and has no symptoms of Covid-19 can collect up to 14 rapid response lateral flow devices (LFDs) per household by appointment only from one of three sites in the borough.

Mental health charity lead says why she got the jab

Bev Randall is the programme manager for the Mosaic Clubhouse – a Lambeth-based charity that works with more than 400 people with mental health issues. The charity was severely affected by the pandemic over the last year including the temporary closure of its HQ but its staff continue to keep regular contact with members over the phone and by remote working.

#DigitalDivide crowdfunder over halfway to its target

Donations to Lambeth’s ‘End the Digital Divide’ appeal to provide laptops and tablets to young people have raised £30,000 – over half of the £50,000 target.

Lambeth Council launches self-isolation support service

We have launched a comprehensive Covid-19 self-isolation support service, including payments of up to £500 for residents on low incomes told to stay at home. The support package will use the council’s local expertise to ensure residents are supported financially as well as working with Age UK Lambeth to deliver practical advice and support

Lambeth Council calls on residents to stick to Covid-19 rules

Lambeth Council has reminded residents to stick to the rules as Covid-19 restrictions begin to ease with the return of the “Rule of Six”. From Monday (March 29) the Government has relaxed rules around social contact as part of the first phase of its roadmap out of lockdown.
